I decided to make this illustration project for my personal enjoyment, as I like the way nutcrackers look and I really enjoy the Christmas colour palette. The vision was to make a poster and to embroider them on a sweatshirt.

The illustrations and product shots are original and I used a mockup to show what the poster might look like in an interior context. The sweatshirt was custom embroidered by a company in Vienna.
The project originally began with the aquarelle illustrations (as shown above). Later on I digitally illustrated three new nutcrackers as a template for the embroidering machine to make a sweatshirt (as seen below).
