This artist book about windows consists of two booklets, held together by a thin sleeve. “Montag”, the larger booklet, shows a series of black and white photographs, while “Freitag”, with a simple coptic stitch binding, plays with colourful illustrations.

Exhibition:
This artist book was exhibited at the Vienna Art Book Fair in 2019.
“Freitag” in comparison to “Montag” has a more naive, playful and colourful approach. Despite, and because of, the contrast, they complement each other and manage to show the beauty of an ordinary object from everyday life.
“Montag” has a rectangle cut out of the black linen hardcover, symbolizing a window through which the cover image can only be seen partially, stirring up curiosity. It also serves as a frame to further emphasize the windows beneath.
