The topic I wanted to draw attention to with this poster design is bullying. So many are being oppressed daily and find themselves standing alone, without a voice. I find it vital to stand up for others and help them in situations of bullying. Creating this poster also helped me to process the loss of a dear friend who took her life due to bullying.

The design is original and was intended for screen print. The poster was made to be desplayed in public space, which is simulated through the following mockups.
Being bullied and avoided by others can make you feel like an alien, which is why I chose to place this design in a space environment. Hurtful words cause painful wounds and can in extreme situations even result in death. The spear first entering the mind and then piercing the heart symbolises that and the subtitle makes the message clear.
