A single face tells a lifetime of stories, which makes them deeply fascinating. That is why I chose women of age with interesting faces for this project.

My aim was to create two contrasting styles: one that carves out the facial features in detail, using an unconventional colour scheme (colouring pencils), and the other is an abstracted version, using only a black ink pen to point out their most obvious features.
