The assignment for this project was to collect 26 objects of the same kind, which I was free to choose. The next step was to collect data around them, find out which qualities would be worth comparing and make two infographic posters with the gathered information.
I picked 26 different fabrics, examined and compared their elasticity (green poster) as well as their structural pattern (yellow poster).

To compare the structure, I scanned the fabrics with very high resolution and greatly enhanced the images until the weaving patterns became visible.
For comparing elasticity, I cut the fabrics in strips of the same length, stretched each one to its maximum, and measured the new length. I then calculated the increase in percent for comparison.
